A Northern Virginia native, Dr. Stephanie Lin was born and raised in Falls Church and attended Bishop Ireton High School in Alexandria. She now proudly serves patients in Alexandria and Washington, D.C., bringing her journey full circle back to the community that shaped her personally and professionally.

After earning undergraduate degrees in Biology and Spanish from the University of Virginia, Dr. Lin went on to complete her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in Richmond. During her time there, she distinguished herself through numerous leadership roles, serving as President of both the American Association of Women Dentists and the Endodontic Study Club, Vice President of Psi Omega Dental Fraternity, and Fundraising Chair for her class. She also participated in the Academic Dental Careers Fellowship, where she taught peer-led lectures and deepened her interest in dental education.

Her clinical skills were recognized early, earning her the Student Achievement Award in Endodontics and recognition from the American Association of Endodontists. In addition to actively volunteering in Mission of Mercy (MOM) projects and other community service events, Dr. Lin developed a strong passion for crown and bridge work, restorative and cosmetic dentistry, managing complex cases, and providing precise, patient-focused endodontic treatment. She finds great fulfillment in transforming smiles and restoring function, helping patients regain both confidence and comfort.

Dr. Lin is deeply committed to lifelong learning and continually hones her skills through advanced continuing education. She is currently working toward her Fellowship (FAGD) from the Academy of General Dentistry and is a certified Invisalign provider. She is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Virginia Dental Association, Northern Virginia Dental Society, and Seattle Study Club, where she collaborates with peers to stay at the forefront of the latest techniques and technologies. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Lin values building meaningful relationships with patients from all backgrounds and strives to provide compassionate, patient-centered care tailored to each individual’s needs.

Outside the office, Dr. Lin is an avid traveler and foodie who loves exploring new cultures and cuisines. She enjoys staying active through tennis and pickleball and values quality time with her family and friends
